1983 Baltimore Orioles World Championship Ring recognizes the franchise's third - and most recent to date - World Series title. Face has approximately 20 genuine diamonds surrounding a script "Orioles," bezel reads World Champions 1983. Right shank has that year's World Series logo in relief along with a Swinging Oriole wearing a crown. Left shank bears the game GERAGHTY above a relief of the championship trophy; there is a blank home plate at the base of the image that would have a uniform number engraved had it been a player. Still, as this is the same type of ring that players received, we think this was a member of the front office though we are unable to confirm. Marked Balfour 10K inside, ring is in EX-MT condition, size 10 ring weighs 33 grams. In their first season after the fiery reign of manager Earl Weaver, Joe Altobelli led the Birds to a 98-win season, beating the Philadelphia Phillies in a 5-game World Series.
