Vintage trunks used by famed professional wrestler Jimmy Valiant (real name, James Fanning). Green trunks have K&H Originals 100% Nylon tag and drawstring in waistband, and the white letters "JV" are stitched to the right hip in white lettering, with nice overall use shown. Though he later gained widespread popularity as the "Boogie Woogie Man," these look to be from the earlier stages of his career (circa 1970s), when he wrestled as "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant and won multiple Tag Team Championships with his ring "brother" who went by the name of "Lushous" Johnny Vailant. Included is a 4.5x6" page reading "Thanks for Buying My JV Green Wrestling Trunks!" also signed with the year 2014. Great vintage wrestling piece.
