Rare professional wrestling contract signed by legendary hardcore brawler "Bruiser Brody." PSA has encapsulated the document and certified the signature as "Authentic." Bruiser Brody's signature is rare in any form. This is the first Bruiser Brody signed wrestling contract we have ever seen, making it one the most significant Brody signed items imaginable. The one-page typed contract, dated March 20, 1979, and issued by the "Texas Department of Labor and Standards  - Boxing and Wrestling Division," has been signed along the base by "Frank Goodish," which was Brody's real name. Goodish's signature has been scripted in black ink and grades "9". In the agreement, Goodish agrees to appear in a "2 Out of 3 falls-45 min. time limit" match against George Momberg, who's ring name was "Killer Karl Kupp," at the Beaumont Civic Center, in Beaumont, Texas, on March 20, 1979.  For his appearance, Goodish is to receive "$25.00 and other considerations." Brody was one of the most fearsome wrestlers in history and was known for his extreme style that often involved substantial action outside the ring and lots of blood. Like Andre the Giant, he was extremely popular and worked all the territories as a "special attraction." He was also wildly popular overseas in Japan. Unfortunately, Brody died at the age of 48 when he was stabbed to death by a fellow wrestler in the locker room prior to a match in Puerto Rico in 1988. The contract (8.5x7.75") remains in Near Mint condition.
