Presented is a multi-signed ball featuring the signatures of three Hall of Fame New York Yankees: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Earle Combs. These three stars played together on the Yankees for 11 years (1924-34), with Ruth and Combs in the outfield and Gehrig on first base. During those 11 seasons, the Yankees won four pennants and three World Series. Interestingly, 1924 was Gehrig's first season with the Yankees, a "cup of coffee" of merely 10 games, and 1934 was Ruth's final season with the Bronx Bombers. Also signing was Dusty Rhodes, a New York Giants outfielder and pinch hitter who starred for the winning Giants in the 1954 World Series. The ball is a Gray Co. Amateur League ball. The ball is dated March 16/29 on a side panel with other handwriting in an unknown hand. The ball exhibits some minor toning and has a few very small areas where tiny pieces of the outer cover on the ball are missing, but overall, the ball is in very good condition. The signatures rate: Babe Ruth (6/10), Lou Gehrig (5/10), Earle Combs (6/10), and Dusty Rhodes (5/10). A JSA Letter of Authenticity comes with the baseball.
