Original Type I photograph picturing Wilbert Robinson as manager of the Brooklyn Robins, circa 1920s. Robinson is captured conversing with an unidentified team member on the sideline prior to a game. Several other players can be seen on the field warming up in the background. A key member of the legendary Baltimore Orioles during the 1890s, Robinson managed the Robins from 1914 to 1931, leading the club to two pennants during that time. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Robinson's name written in pencil. The photo (8x6.25") displays a few light creases. In Very Good condition overall.
