Offered is a Gem Mint full ticket to the first Super Bowl that Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots, ever won. The Gold Variation ducat was for Super Bowl XXXVI, for the 2001 season, played on February 3, 2002, between the Patriots and the St. Louis Rams. This was the first Super Bowl ever played in February, as the NFL season had been pushed back a week after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The game was tied at 17 when the Rams scored a touchdown with 1:30 left to play in the fourth quarter. With no timeouts left, many thought that the Patriots would not risk mounting a drive from their own territory, but would instead, run out the clock and try to win in overtime. Instead, Patriots' head coach Bill Belichick and Brady went for the win. As Belichick later noted, "With a quarterback like Brady, going for the win was not that dangerous, because he's not going to make a mistake." Belichick was right. Brady was flawless as he led a drive that led to a game -winning 48-yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri was time ran out. Hall of Famers playing in the game for St. Louis: Isaac Bruce, Marshall Faulk, Orlando Pace, Kurt Warner, and Aeneas Williams. Hall of Famers in the game for New England: Ty Law, and Richard Seymour. Using lenticular printing, the Gold Variation full ticket shows two different images, depending on the viewing angle. The two images being the Lombardi Trophy and a giant American flag on a football field. The ticket has been encapsulated and graded by PSA Gem Mint 10.
