Philadelphia Phillies road jersey worn by third base coach Don Hoak in 1967. The gray flannel jersey is lettered Phillies across the front and features the number 52 on the reverse. All lettering is applied in maroon chenille on white tackle twill. The player's name and the year (Hoak 67) are chain-stitched in black on a gray strip tag in the collar. Located on the left front tail is a "Wilson Size 44" wash label. The number on the reverse has been restored and is not original to the jersey. Aside from the restored number, the jersey is unaltered and displays moderate-to-heavy wear. Hoak, who played 11 seasons in the Majors, was a member of the 1960 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates and finished second in the MVP voting to teammate Dick Groat that year. 1967 marked his only season as a coach with the Phillies.
