Addendum 11/17/2021 2:25pm ET:  The 100th Anniversary patch has been added back to this jersey at a later date, however, it is an authentic, of the era patch.

San Francisco Giants road jersey worn by second baseman Don Mason in 1969. The gray flannel jersey is lettered San Francisco across the front and features the number "6" on the reverse. All letters and numerals are applied in black on orange tackle twill. Located on the left front tail are a Goodman & Sons label and a gray strip tag bearing the player's name, jersey size, set number, and year (Mason 40/2 1969). The number "6" is written in black marker in the collar. The Major League 100th Anniversary patch adorns the left sleeve. Don Mason wore number "21" with the Giants in 1969. The original number "21" was later removed and replaced with the present "6," but the outline of the former number is clearly visible. The number change indicates that this jersey was most likely sent out for use by one of the club's minor league affiliates after the season (a common practice at the time). Except for the number change, the jersey is all original and displays moderate-to-heavy wear. Don Mason served as a utility infielder for his entire eight-year Major League career, which was spent with the Giants and Padres. In 1969 he logged a career-high 259 at bats, finishing the year with 0 home runs, 13 RBI, and a .228 batting average.
