Included are 15 baseball Hall of Famers, and many top stars. Hall of Famers: Gehrig (9/10), Foxx, Williams, DiMaggio, Greenberg, Feller, Appling, Ruffing, Gordon (twice), Gomez, Averill, Doerr, Gehringer, Cronin, and Boudreau. Stars: Moe Berg, Billy Sullivan, Pinky Higgins, Red Kress, Bing Miller, Red Rolfe, Tommy Henrich, Wally Schang, Oscar Vitt, Fritz Ostermuller, Dixie Walker, Hal Trosky, Schoolboy Rowe, Barney McCosky, Dizzy Trout, Ben Chapman, Fred Haney, Eric McNair, Spud Chandler, Monte Pearson, Myril Hoag, Bump Hadley, Johnny Murphy, Dick Bartell, and Oral Hildebrand. The date "12/25/37" is written on the interior front cover. According to the consignor, all the signatures in this book were obtained at Cleveland's League Park in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Given that time frame, the Ted Williams example dates to, or slightly after, his 1939 rookie campaign. Approximately 25 signatures in the book are those of former NFL football players, the remainder are baseball signatures.
