Original trophy presented to 1973 St. Louis Football Cardinals' Most Valuable Player Jim Hart; though it does not have the quarterback's name on it, the trophy comes with LOA signed by Hart stating that it has been in his presence since he received it. Wood base measures roughly 13.5x4" with two football player figurines, one on each side of the plaque which reads, Dr. Norm Rathert Award - 1973 - St. Louis Football Cardinals Most Valuable Player. Another helmetless player stands just above and full piece measures 35" tall. Trophy shows its age as there's foxing on the metal surfaces, shows a fair amount of wear, and is fragile as a couple of the pieces are loose; overall GD condition. Before the team's move to Arizona, Hart was synonymous with St. Louis football, having guided the Cardinals for an amazing 18 seasons.
