Very rare 1984 San Diego Padres National League Championship ring awarded to Director of Group Sales Tom Mulcahy. Interlocking SD logo is encrusted with 23 genuine diamonds and rests on a Topaz set stone. Bezel reads Padres National League Champions, left shank has name Mulcahy while the opposite has the year 1984 above the engraved words Dreams Can Come True, with swinging Padre over a relief of Jack Murphy Stadium, and RAK engraved at the bottom for owner Ray Kroc. Ring is size 10 and weighs 29 grams, inside stamped Balfour 10k, comes with Padres business card from Mulcahy. Led by Manager Dick Williams, star hitter Tony Gwynn, and NLCS Most Valuable Player Steve Garvey, the Padres were that season's Cinderella story before falling short against Detroit in the World Series. Ring shows some wear, EX-NM condition.
