Wonderful, rare, and historically significant 1881 scorecard of a baseball game between the Boston Red Stockings and Cleveland Blues, all in the original hand of Hall of Famer Harry Wright. A few of these have come to market in recent years and they remain a marvel, immaculately scored in pencil on both sides and initialed. Fun fact - while Baseball Reference refers to this very game - played on June 27 - as a 10-9 Boston victory, this card indicates that the score was really 10-6, per Wright's intricate and still easily-legible scorekeeping. Measures 6.5x4" and amazingly well-preserved, considering the light
weight of the paper stock. Comes with full letter from PSA/DNA.
