Original program dates to Game 5 of the 1912 World Series between the New York Giants and Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Measuring 7x10", the 40-page staple-bound artifact has been well-used with toning, some minor tears and blemishes, and both teams scored in pencil. Still, this ranks in VG condition and all pages are present and legible. Game 5 of the 1912 Series was a decisive one as Giants' star hurler Christy Mathewson retired the final 17 Red Sox batters but not before giving up a pair of runs that would prove to be the difference in a 2-1 Sox win. Fun Fact - this is the only scheduled best-of-7 World Series to go eight games, as Game 2 went 11 innings with a 6-6 tie before being called due to darkness and replayed in its entirety.
