Rare circa 1910 original, one of a kind, from the camera glass plate negative of the immortal Honus Wagner in action. Spectacular image shows Wagner bent forward, poised to streak toward first base the split second before he released the bat, possibly after connecting for one of his 3,420 career hits. Measures 7x5" with some minor and common image loss at the very edges, and three or four pinpoints of loss on the image itself. That bears little relevance as this scarcity is one of only a very few (less than 5) original negatives of Wagner unearthed to date from the immense Brown Brothers collection.
