The centerpiece of the First Class section of the RMS Titanic which came to be known as The Grand Staircase is the subject of this circa 1910s original Type I photo. Though the image is black and white, it easily evokes the accounts of the setting which refer to Oak-paneled walls, touches of bronze, and a dome of iron and glass above. Measures 8x6.25" with slight blemish to the middle of the top border, back is blank except for the name of the ship and number 09243 written in pencil. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
