P.T. Barnum was a showman, politician and businessman who is most remembered for promoting celebrated hoaxes and founding the famed Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1871. The businessman is also credited with coining the phrase "There's a sucker born every minute." Exceedingly rare, this 1880s 4x6.5" cabinet photo presents in VG-EX condition overall and is highlighted with a dark and recently PSA Authenticated signature. With zero inscriptions or personalizations, the cabinet photo simply reads, "P.T. Barnum" in black fountain ink.
