Glass plate negative from 1929 depicting a series of photos of pitcher's grips compiled by photography great Charles Conlon. Measuring 4x5", the negative is as it came directly from the camera, displaying a great angled view of Guy Bush's grip on the curve ball. Original paper envelope has Conlon's writing on it identifying player and content. Due to their obviously fragile nature, many glass plate negatives have not survived the test of time, but this and several others in this auction from the Brown Brothers collection are ready to produce images now that are as crisp as the ones in 1929.
