Reading the back of this card just takes the reader away to another place and time. With gems like "Most picturesque player in baseball" and "Should sizzle into his old stride this year" you just can't help but want to go to see him pitch. This is one of the hobby's greatest cards, desired by nearly every collector in the hobby and revered by all. The first card of the ultimate baseball showman, ol' Satch, who wowed crowds for over 20 years with his blinding fastball before working in some slower stuff later in the ride.
