This gold ID bracelet once adorned the wrist of the Heavyweight Champion of the World - James J. Braddock. It was given to the boxer by his wife and children upon his induction into the Army in 1944, a decade after he was champ. Its face features the engraving: "LT. James W Braddock" and the back is also engraved: "0918314" and stamped "14K," though it is faint. Comes with an LOA from Braddock's son, Jay, as well as an LOA from boxing expert Craig Hamilton.
