Standard Sweet Caporal cigarette package with advertising for the October 21st, 1933, game between Ottawa and Montreal is super cool and the first we've ever encountered.
More than just a pack of cigarettes, this was a purposely made promotional piece for smokers and hockey enthusiasts alike.
Sold before and during the game, this special site-issued pack came with five cigarettes and a unique red, white and blue ribbon with pin that was intended to be worn during the game to support the team.
The cigarettes are long gone, but if you carefully open this little time capsule, you'll find the colorful ribbons with safety pin attached to its original cardboard holder. Appears to have been opened for the cigarettes only; the ribbon is in virtually unused condition. EX condition overall.
