Presented to Fox in 1959 for being Pennsylvania's Outstanding Athlete of The Year, this one-of-a-kind trophy has been in the Fox family collection since that fine day in 1959. Standing at a 40" tall, this trophy is as impressive as it is handsome with all of its gold and finished wood touches. The sturdy base features a ballplayer catching a ball above the plaque that reads, "Pennsy Family Club Award - Penna's Outstanding Athlete - 1959 - Nelson Fox." Above that you'll find two small eagles and a large trophy with ball and a right-handed batter at the plate (bat has recently been replaced).
