From the Fox family's personal collection, we are proud to offer Nellie Fox's 1,500 hit ball. This is the actual American League baseball that Nellie got his 1,500th hit with. Having the foresight to save such a milestone piece, this ball has been in the Fox family for many years. This memento shows fine use and is marked "1,500" in bold black. The opposite panel reads, "Nellie Fox Chicago White Sox 1,500 Hits." The label is unfortunately faded but upon further inspection you'll notice the sweet spot is hand labeled "1,500" in blue ink (appears to be in Nellie's hand). Most definitely from that momentous game, this ball comes with a Fox Family LOA.
