Golden metal and numbered 1071, features the organization's colorful logo to the left of Klein’s engraved name. The name of the Association's secretary, "Win Clark," appears in the lower left corner. (Clark was a former major league player with Louisville in 1897; he died in 1959.) The Association of Professional Ball Players of America is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1924 to provide financial assistance to professional ballplayers, as well as scouts, umpires, or even clubhouse attendants who are in need. Today, the organization's membership numbers over 11,000. The card measures 4" x 2". The piece comes with a letter of authenticity from the Klein family.
