Offered is this beautiful 1961 Washington Senators jacket worn and used by Gene Woodling. This dark Spalding size 44 jacket is of heavy, quality construction and shows nice use. The leather edge bound pockets are all original and show some wear. The famous red on white felt "W" is firmly sewn on the left breast and has great contrast sitting on the dark background. Inside you'll find a square felt swatch that reads "61" indicating the year and "14" in white felt numbers sewn alongside the zipper. Some sun fading present but this jacket still shows well and is ready to be enjoyed some more.
