The Los Angeles Dons were an American football team in the now defunct All-America Football Conference from 1946 to 1949 that played in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. From those early days of football comes this exceedingly rare Los Angeles Dons team t-shirt. Navy blue in color, the shirt features the outline of a red football, the team's mascot and the words, "Los Angeles Dons." From the collection of John Kimbrough (Dons Fullback), this shirt comes with one of his football cards as well. Great piece of early west coast football history.
