Perhaps the most beautiful and certainly the most intricate of the NHL team awards, the Prince of Wales Trophy was presented to the regular season Champions of the conference bearing the its name. This personal miniature was presented by the National Hockey League to Eddy Palchak as a valued member of the 1972-73 Montreal Canadiens. Four towering sticks rise from the wood base to support a silver plate cup with attached lid. A plaque on one side of the base reads “HRH Prince of Wales Trophy – Eddy Palchak, Asst. Trainer”. The opposing side is inscribed “NHL Champions – 1972-73 – Club de Hockey Canadien”. In excellent condition. Included is a Letter of Authenticity signed by Mr. Palchak.
