Great image of Jack Johnson being introduced by Billy Jordan to the crowd in Reno, Nevada, on July 4th, 1910. Advertised as "The Fight of the Century," the Johnson-Jeffries fight was one of the most anticipated of all-time as well as one of the most remembered. The fight's promoter/referee, Tex Rickard, sold the film rights and had the bout recorded using nine cameramen and the film is two hours long. Framed in dark wood, the image features Jack Johnson standing proudly in the ring before the fight and looking quite confident we might add. 17x22.5" overall.
