Following his playing career, one of Ruth's major endorsements during the late 1930's was with the Sinclair Refining Company. This partnership resulted in Ruth hosting a weekly radio baseball program sponsored by the company as well as company sponsored contests. Recently found are these two 1937 Sinclair Refining Co. original radio scripts. These were Babe Ruth's personal scripts handled by his right hand man Joe Bihler. Collection includes (1) fifteen page document entitled "Sinclair Refining Co. Program - Babe Ruth" and (2) two page inserts with identical content dated April 16, 1937. Content is mainly baseball with some obvious Sinclair advertising slipped in like "Sinclair's holding a World Series every week" and humorous comments such as "My mother told me never to trust a radio announcer."
From the estate of Joe Bihler, the right hand man of Babe Ruth's agent Christy Walsh and in turn Ruth himself.
