Remarkable content regarding Babe Ruth's ongoing tax issues. Christy Walsh's Joe Bihler has requested Ruth's legendary mentor Brother Matthias to help the Babe out with some 1923/24 tax issues. Apparently Brother Matthias "received nothing" from Ruth for the school during those years.  Typed on St. Mary’s stationary, school superintendent Brother Benjamin says he is more than willing to help “Babe” out, but in the end they need to “tell the right thing.”  Comes with original envelope with Baltimore post mark. Amazing content. Brother Matthias was a father figure to the Babe and took young George H. Ruth him under his wing. Matthias was the one that introduced the young George Ruth to the game of baseball.
