Extremely interesting oil on canvas signed "Charles C Lidbergh 58". This is actually a presentation piece given out by the Red Sox' and Ted Williams' main charity, the Jimmy Fund. The piece is in its original frame w/an attractive brass presentation plaque reading "Ted Williams". The autograph itself is also something of a presentation with simply a HUGE signature with Ted's handwriting equally large: "To a Great Jimmy Fund Supporter Ted Williams". The inscription starts out really strong but as the felt tip is on a painting it ran out of steam and the signature is light but THERE. The signature is NOT faded, just Ted ran dry. Overall 21.5x27.5" framed with PSA LOA.
