Hillerich and Bradsby M110 Eddie Mathews professional model game used and signed bat. Although labeling and size specifications indicate that it was made for Mathews in 1968, there is a vintage "41" on the knob whereas Mathews wore 7 with the Tigers. Everything else about the bat is beautiful-great game use with plenty of seam marks on the barrel and is uncracked. The fact that there is a 41 on knob may indicate that the bat was carried over from the Braves to the Tigers or that it was used in 1968 by Mathews without a number and then numbered for use when he went back to the Braves as a coach in 1972. The later seems not probable to us but is mentioned in the PSA letter. Another explanation could be that Mathews numbered the bats "41" while with the Tigers even though his number had changes or perhaps records are not complete and the bat was produced two years earlier than stated. Bottom line is that we feel strongly that this bat was used by Mathews during his MLB playing career. 9/10 signature on the barrel. Comes with PSA letter grading it an 8 and also letter from Michael Montbriand that dates to 1993.
