Midnight navy wool cap is adorned by a red button and a Cleveland “C” Swiss embroidered in red and white. The headband displays a Wilson tag with the size (“7”) confirmed thrice (stamped twice, flap tag). The manufacturer’s coding confirms that the cap was produced in April of 1960, suggesting that this exemplar saw season-long use. Kuenn’s number “7” appears under the brim in vintage black marker, along with “To Sal, Best Wishes, Harvey Kuenn” in NRMT black ballpoint.
