Extremely difficult to find program that flies under the radar. Played March 28, 1970, in honor of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. it featured Jackie Robinson as a coach and was sponsored by MLK's Southern Christian Leadership Conference. The lineups were simply remarkable. East featured Clemente, Banks, Gibson, Robinson, Santo, Seaver, Kaline and Stargell. The manager was Joe DiMaggio and the coaches included Satchel Paige. West featured Aaron, Rose, Carew, Cepeda, Morgan, Bench and Reggie Jackson. The Manager was Roy Campanella w/coaches Drysdale, Koufax and Jackie Robinson. The content inside this EX-MT program is historic. Much of it is African American w/ much devoted to Dr. King and evan an ad for Topps picturing Campy's 1952 Topps card. Played at Dodgers Stadium this was the last appearance of Jackie Robinson in uniform. A very special program.
