Pair of tickets from the July 18-19, 1972 shows at the Boston Garden. July 18 is the key ticket as Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were arrested for assault in Warwick, R.I., just before they were scheduled to play the Boston Garden. Boston Mayer Kevin White rushed to their rescue and pleaded with the Rhode Island Police to release them so there wouldn't be a riot at the Boston Garden. To buy some time, opening act Stevie Wonder played the "longest set in history" and Mayor White even through a football in the audience to help distract the 15,000 fans. The Stones sped to the Garden with police escort and sirens blaring to play what many consider the best show of the tour. According to Steve Perry, Aerosmith guitarist, "it was the best concert ever played in Boston." Both tickets PSA slabbed authentic.
