Lot includes: 1-2) Nice fighting poses by George Gotham Bain. 3) 1924 first silent film wire photograph. 4) Willard chasing Dempsey "In Toledo." 5) Stunning 1922 muscular pose. 6) 1931 "Ring Wars." 7) Gorgeous 1910s outdoor ring shot. 8) At radio before Tunney. 9) 1945 Dempsey-Willard. 10-11) 1923 sparring pre-Firpo. 12) Willard-Dempsey stamped "The Ring." 13) August 1922 training. 14) 1924 in the ring with Newman. 15) On Borengaria (ocean liner) with wife by G.G. Bain. 16) With John McGraw by Charles Conlon. 17) 1923 vs. Gibbons. 18-19) 1927 weighing in for Sharkey (double weight) and in the ring. 20) Favorite over Tunney (great!). 21) Perfect 1921 portrait. 22-23) 1919 pushing Willard's massive body in ring and Willard pushing back. 24) 1920 signing contract with Carpentier by G.G. Bain. 25-28) Excellent group of smaller images with training for Tunney (2) and Willard fight (2). Also includes a spectacular group of fifteen real photo postcards with many scarcities. Most all photographs have appropriate stampings, dates and articles present on verso.
