Graded by PSA VG 3. Offered is another very elusive Babe Ruth card, this time one issued north of the border in Canada with the 1923 Maple Crisptee set of 30 cards. One of the many reasons why this set of 30 cards is very difficult to complete today is that the "redemption program" reared its head once again, as children were prompted to send in a set of 30 cards and a youngster could receive a baseball, bat or glove. This offered example is one of only 21 total Ruth cards graded by PSA from this issue, with this card falling right in the middle of the pack. This pleasing example includes a well struck crisp image with evenly touched corners, plus a very light wrinkle along the top half of the left edge. Several small spots on the reverse do not distract from the printed text.
