Considered by many to be the greatest billiards player of all time, this amazing cabinet photo with a bold prediction depicts a 13-year old William Hoppe. The 4x5.5" photo is mounted on a 5x7" card, which does have some chipping at the edges, though the photo is very well-preserved. Writing on the back states, "Willie Hoppe wonderful 13 year old billiardist who promises to become the Champion." Indeed, that promise was well fulfilled, as Hoppe became an internationally renowned American professional carom billiards champion, winning 51 world titles between 1906 and 1952 using the distinctive style of play he learned as a child.
