An old-timey treasure, these full color lithographs from the mid-19th century feature on its cover a quartet of ladies in their Sunday best, or perhaps athletic wear of the time, enjoying a game of lawn tennis. The ladies are equipped with classic early racquets, distinct with a slender face, and could very well be promoting the first ever tennis sheet music. There is noticeable spine damage taken from sound volume, but the piece remains an important touchstone to a bygone era in both sport and entertainment.
