This beautiful Official League Junior ball is one to proudly display on the mantle as it has been signed by two of baseball's all-time greats: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. The mythical status that surrounds Ruth and Gehrig is very much deserved. The two were the cornerstone of the great New York Yankee teams from the 1920s and '30s, and were the main attractions on the '27 Yanks squad that is considered to be one of the best of all time. Their combined performances were nothing short of legendary that year: Ruth slugged his famous mark of 60 home runs, but it was Gehrig who walked away with the AL MVP Award, compiling an other-worldly slash line of 47/173/.373. Naturally, the duo won a World Series in '27, and would go on to win two more together, one the following season and another in '32. Ruth and Gehrig's signatures appear on the ball side-by-side, with Ruth's name appearing on the sweet spot, and it has also been signed by two others. The ball is rated 6.5, while the signatures check in at 6.0, and it comes with a JSA LOA. It is tremendously pleasing to the eye, which is only further enhanced by the fact it has been signed by two legends.
