This classy tie bar commemorates the Detroit Lions World Championship in 1957, the last year the Lions won an NFL championship. Their drought is the second longest in the league behind only the Arizona Cardinals, and the Lions are the only NFC team to have not played in a Super Bowl. Led by Hall of Fame quarterback Bobby Layne, the '57 Lions parlayed an 8-4 record into a championship game appearance in which they stomped the Cleveland Browns 59-14 even without Layne, who had suffered a broken ankle late in the year.
