This Official Spalding National League ball was signed by baseball’s own icon Roberto Clemente during his tremendous 1960s decade of play. Blue ballpoint pen signature on the sweet spot is large and bold (8/10). Clemente has added the Spanish salutation "Carinosamente" which means "lovingly" above his name on the sweet spot. Roberto's passion, speed and talent made him an instant star for the Pittsburgh Pirates, and he was still producing at the age of 38 when, during a 1972 off-season mission of mercy to aid earthquake victims, his plane was tragically lost at sea. To this day, he remains one of baseball's most endearing figures, and this ball is a tremendous memento. Comes with PSA LOA.
