Lot Description  

Was this man the pre-Jackie Jackie? The unidentified Negro League catcher either tried out for or was on the roster for the 1947 Kingston Dodgers, Brooklyn's minor league affiliate in Kingston, NY. There are two images included here, each signed on the back by official Dodger photographer Barney Stein. Each 8x10" is in EX-MT condition. It is amazing that - to date - no one knows who this man is.
