After his beloved Brooklyn Dodgers captured the 1941 National League pennant - the team's first in over two decades - Dan Parker and Bud Green were moved to song in celebration. This 9x12" sheet music features a cover photo of that team, with the enclosed ditty entitled, "Leave Us Go Root for the Dodgers, Rodgers." Only the second one we have seen in all our years, it is folded horizontally but otherwise in EX-MT condition. With two verses and nine choruses set to a waltz beat, this tune serves as yet another ode to the passion of Brooklyn fans for their hometown Bums.
