This amazing set of three Chicago White Sox stock certificates from 1946 was not only issued by, but to, members of one of the First Families of baseball. Each is signed by Grace Comiskey, who was one of the first women to own a Major League team, and secretary Leslie M. O'Connor. Two of the certificates were issued to Grace Comiskey, and one to her daughter Dorothy C. (Comiskey) Rigney. These crisp 8.5x11" documents are in beautiful condition with mailing folds. Owned by Comiskey family, consecutive certificates 38, 39, and 40, represent a total of 986 shares of stock totaling just under $100,000 in value.
