Fabulous specimen of a game worn glove from one of the classic baseball pitchers of the 1960s-80s. Along with greats of his era like Steve Carlton, Jim Palmer, Nolan Ryan and others, he changed the way we saw the men of the mound. MacGregor glove is well worn with all-important handwritten "31" on the base of the thumb. Backside of glove has handwritten "Cy Young, 1971 24-13." And the royal handwritten "Fergie." Autographed by Fergie Jenkins with "HOF" inscription and date we cannot make out. A truly important piece from one of the great Chicago Cubs. His resume includes three All-Star seasons, and in 1971, first Cubs Cy Young Award winner, SEVEN TIME 20-game winner, NL & win leader, strikeout leader and had over 3,000 strikeouts during his Hall of Fame career.
