It was the birth of a dynasty. The 1972 Oakland A's won the first of three straight World Series crowns, and this was the sample ring that was made identical to the one awarded to the venerable businessman who purchased the franchise and moved it from Kansas City to Oakland in 1968. "Jostens 10k" and "B3963" are engraved on the inside of the Size 9.5 ring, whose right shank reads: "Oakland A's, Finley." The left reads: "World Series, A's 4, Reds 3, S+S=S". This is a genuine sample with all-important original serial number.
