A rare calendar, this is from the legendary mobster who owned boxing for a time along with his Mafioso partner Frank Carbo, a soldier in the Lucchese Family and a gunman in Murder, Inc, best known for his role in throwing the 1947 Jake LaMotta-Billy Fox fight, brilliantly portrayed in the classic 1980 Martin Scorcese film, Raging Bull. This unused calendar is complete and even has the previous year's December page, from Frank Palermo Boxing Enterprises at the Shubert Building in Philadelphia where Palmero ran the biggest numbers racket. The calendar has a stain but is otherwise EX+ condition measuring 11x14". Interesting that his "Boxing Enterprise" was meant to be on the down low, this shows it was somewhat public.
