In the midst of the Edmonton Oilers' dynasty in the 1980s, one man stood above the rest. Known simply as "The Great One," Wayne Gretzky carved a path that has him considered by many to be the greatest player in hockey history. This beautiful Titan TPM2020 model stick shows nice use and bears an "Aug 28 1985" stamp on the shaft near the blade, which has the original taped blade and butt end and displays baby powder on the blade. Gretzky has signed the shaft below the manufacturer's name, and added "86" denoting the year and his number 99 is in marker at the top of the shaft. Edmonton won five Stanley Cups in six years from 1982 thru 1988, and the 1985-86 season saw Gretzky capture one of his nine Art Ross Trophies as the NHL's Most Valuable Player.
