Twelve 35mm images document the Champ, Muhammad Ali, vs. Oscar Bonavena in 1970, as they fought at Madison Square Garden. It was the former champ's second bout after his three-year layoff, and these are great from-the-camera black and white 35mm negatives.
The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
