This 6x9" program originates from the 1973 National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame 16th Annual Awards Dinner on December 4. On the opening page, the program states that the event honors John Wayne, who first competed on the football field before becoming a motion picture star. Great signatures in red ink on the front and back cover include: Wayne, Gerald "Gerry" Ford, Charlie Conerly, Duffy Daugherty and George Connor on the back cover; Otto Graham, Franco Harris, Chuck Bednarik, Kyle Rote on front cover. Some signatures are inscribed to "Jimmie," the 32-page program is in EX+ condition with minor stains but no tears. Wayne received the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Gold Medal for 1973 at the dinner, and pages 8-9 are dedicated to his football days at USC. Comes with JSA LOA.
